1 of the Worst movies of 2009 - favorite candidate

I watched it last night. Firstly directing is weak, director don't know anything about acting. Script is meaningless, and dialogues are very bad. Acting is worse than amateur. In movie you want to feel their pain and sadness and what they feel about their losts, but it is impossible. All characters are out of life, there isn't any good scene.Ashton acts a wrestler and he walks like he has an umbrella in his ass, this doesn't make him look like wrestler.Good acting is needed. Michelle Pfeiffer looks like an alien with her irregular silicon lips. In movie there is nothing about pain, sadness about loosing family members.it just makes you thing when Michelle gonna have sex with Ashton. and this is what she things instead of his dead husband. this is the point of whole movie. nothing about drama.
believe me this movie doesn't worth your 2 hours.

I am not usually critical, but this movie was SO BAD! Boring as all heck, and the acting was PAINFULLY terrible

WTH??

What if this is As Good As It Gets?

Bad movie. I am a young widow. At no point in the movie did Pfeiffer's acting ring true. Not as a widow and not as a mother of a deaf child who has lost his father. Her acting was so flat you could slide it under a door.

Anyone who liked this movie must be 1. star-struck, 2. very young, and/or, 3. emotionally shallow.

The only thing that had any validity were the words narrated by Clay. And they should have been communicated in ASL with subtitles, or in ASL with a voiced-over narrative.

Can you come up with specifics of what made the directing weak and the acting bad? Since your original critique did not include this it is not much of anything. I guess if you couldn't see the depression and anger in the performances you are clueless.

You probably know nothing about grief, and that is great. Here we have the stories of only people in mourning who know each other thru a support group. Sorry the movie has no rock, alcohol, and sex to the roof.
