Anyway, did I miss something in the movie -- did they ever "reveal" who it was that shot Brian that night, or who sent him anyway?
Did the real Brian Goodeman talk about it on the commentary at all? Did he really get shot in real life?
Most likely one of the countless people they *beep* over. It would probably be really hard to find out since there were so many.

I have to say I don't really consider this to be a major spoiler. After all, it's not as if the plot of this movie centers around two men trying to outdo one another at not getting shot, and then all of a sudden: "Holy *beep* Brian got shot! What a twist!"
As it turns out, Brian getting shot isn't even the most impactful scene out of all the scenes where a person is shot, imo.

I thought it was either Brian's wife, his older kid, or maybe his wife's female friend who disapproved of Brian. If you notice, the person who shot him was short.
That would be cool if the following scene shows the hooded figure getting home, taking off his hoodie, turning to the camera, revealing himself to be Brian's older kida nd then smiling directly into the camera, demonically, while Omen-type music plays. That would've scared the sh*t outta me.
