Why does everyone hate this show, what did you expect?? A show that is 12 minutes every week isn't going to be absolutely amazing, but it is exactly what they said it would be: Like nothing else you've ever seen, and that is exactly what it is.
shareI think it's stunning. The level of wordplay and wild imagination that goes into it is amazing. Most comedians would kill to be able to come up with the dialogue between Xavier and the rich child from the latest episode.
It's very easy to write it off as weirdness for weirdness's sake, but if you give it some time and look under the hood, you can see some fine, traditional comedy writing there.
i love it. this and tim and eric is just kicking my *beep* ass with awesomeness. i dont understand people who cant wrap their head around this kind of stuff. its the future of comedy. did you haters think we'd never move past south park, etc.?

I don't think it's a matter of "getting it". I think the people that don't like it (ie: me) just don't like that sort of random and bizzare sense of humour. It's not something to "get" and if you don't "get it", you're "lame". Just different taste, that's all.
Although I do think this brand of humour is better suited online, at least for now since it is costing Adult Swim ratings.

that kind of humor is not for everyone. but, i've always been into 'in your face' kind of stuff. whether it be humor, horror, drama..etc if it crosses boundaries and makes you wonder what the hell they were thinking...chances are, i'll like it :D
but that's just me.

sharei've got to agree... even though i'm a big PFFR fan, and I like the majority of this show (some of it was pretty dissapointing) it's certainly not a case of 'getting it'. the show really isn't hard to follow or understand, it's just some people may not like the level of surreality this show reaches, or the constant wordplay, the visual gags or even the intentionally poor animation. it just aint their thing... doesn't mean they don't 'get it'. it just means they think its crap and, even though i like the show, i can understand why they'd think that.
if you need a better example, just listen to PFFR's music. enough said.

nope, i enjoyed this show as well. As far as stoner shows go, it is far more enjoyable than retarded *beep* like Aqua Teen Hunger Force crap.

I'm with you. I like this show. Although the polit episode alone didn't sell me. If it wasn't for the fact that I love Wonder Showzen, I probably wouldn't have given this show a chance. I am glad I have. John Lee & Vernon Chatman and Vernon Chatman & John Lee need to make more shows to open these unquenchable cans of philosophical thirst worms.
I watched a little bit of it. It's retarded!! I don't like it.
