This Movie Is About the Producer of "A Man Called Otto" (2022)

I post this in April of 2023. Several months ago in late 2022, a movie was released to theaters and streaming starring Tom Hanks called "A Man Called Otto," based on a Swedish film.

The co-producer of "A Man Called Otto" is listed as: Gary Goetzman.

According to Paul Thomas Anderson, writer-director of "Licorice Pizza" a great deal of "Licorice Pizza" is based on the young 1970's life of Gary Goetzman, who is PTA's friend -- though, I suspect, PTA's OLDER friend. PTA was born too late to experience the 70's shown in the movie; its Gary Goetzman's time.

Gary Goetzman DID have the waterbed business and DID hang out in the San Fernando Valley showbiz scene in the 70's and DID have an older girlfriend in actress Kay Lenz, who WAS in the movie "Breezy" with William Holden(renamed Jack Holden and played by Sean Penn.)

Eventually, Gary Goetzman connected with Tom Hanks and co-produced(with Hanks) many movies, up to and including the recent "A Man Called Otto."

So I hope Alana stuck it out with Gary. They'd be rich and successful today in 2023. Of course, she'd be like 80 to his 70...but when you're that old, what does it matter?
