Sidney in how many Stabs

In the beginning of 4, Jenny says that the first three were about Sidney, but then she threatened to sue if they kept using her story, so then they started making stuff up.

Sidebar: After 3, nothing actually happened until 4 in real life, so they would've had to make stuff up anyway, just like they intended to at the start of 3, which then ended up sort of predicting 4. And 5 in a way. So I always thought they should've just used that easier excuse, but I digress.

Back to my original point, then in 5, it's said that Sidney was in all of them except for 8, the new one, so she was in 7.

So not really sure what to make of it.

Plus, it's always bugged me how that even works. Because Sidney's in 7 Stabs. But they watch the beginning of Stab 7 at the start of Scre4m. But the events of Scre4m would have been turned into a sequel. Which they apparently did, since Wes mentions his mom was in one. But that would've had to be 8. But it can't be if Sidney wasn't in it, since she was in Scre4m. Sorry if that was hard to follow. It's a minor error, but it's an error and it bugs me. They should've had Stab 9 be the new one in Scream 5, that would've made more sense.
