Dewey's relationships

So he hasn't spoken to Gale in a couple of years, which is news to Sidney, implying none of them really keep in touch. Which makes sense. Divorce aside, they so closely associate each other with these awful events, and Dewey always knowing Tatum should be the same age as Sidney. I think in between movies, they probably keep in touch more in a holiday card kind of way.

But Dewey in Woodsboro, kind of odd. Martha asks how his wife is, so she clearly isn't aware he and Gale split, but later in that scene, Wes mentions it like it's common knowledge. And I doubt Martha's a recluse.
