Unsurprisingly, on reddit, it even led to some highly controversial debates.

About [guess which subject] and if its "worse" than murder - with a lot of users there emotionally going on about how that subject actually IS worse but certain folks stating murder IS ultimately the worst one... And folks...

OK both matters are wrong. And yes one matter makes the culprit more depraved and unpleasant and we as human beings tend to be sexually sensitive with history and modern times proving it so, but... Maybe both are equally bad, but murder, especially of innocents who don't deserve it, is arguably worse, right? Or maybe that other matter is worse at least sometimes, but is far more of a sensitive trigger issue including in this day and age?

And did this show actually INTEND to answer that question FOR US?

Even in terms of its two arguably villainous antagonists Daemon and Aerius?

P.S. Even though back in historic times hundreds of years ago, both matters sadly happened a lot in humanity, but did either matter make people really wonder about how horrible humanity often is, if one or some offenses that are TRULY UNFORGIVABLE exist so much, and some may even feel murder is not as bad, by the way, are there FACTS here AS WELL to say which one is worse? Cheers.

P.S.S. Some people believe stating one matter is worse than death is toxic and harmful, but then again, how come I heard many seemingly civilized and intelligent people make that statement, and does the absolute truth HERE exist or is it all opinion and emotion based?
