why do filmmakers have to factor in what their audience may get offended by when making their flicks?

it's a ruthless organization who are using humans for testing. do you think they would use any other indicators and triggers to incite the paranoia of its subjects (citizens) WITHOUT using islamophobia? no way. horror movies are mirrors that reflect the ugly aspects of our culture today. islamophobia, is one of those things. to you. and anyone else who gets offended.

If I was naive and didn't really understand islam, both from a modern perspective and an historical perspective, then yes I probably would. But the fact is I have properly educated myself as to what islam is. I used to be "into" sufism quite some time ago and I had no idea who mohammed was, in fact at first I wasn't even aware that sufism had anything to do with islam either, since the material I was reading (it was quite some time ago) hardly ever mentioned mohammed or islam or even "muslim". Eventually when I became quite impressed with what sufism was saying I became curious as to its roots, so I began to look up what history had to say about mohammed and what the muslim faith/islam was. I could not understand how the sufis could spend all day referring to love, peace and tolerance on the one hand and yet at the same time consider mohammed to so wonderful and perfect in their eyes when he propagated islam by military campaigns. How could someone who represented something so spiritual as sufism ever lift a finger to any creature, EVER, let alone spread a "faith" through military campaigns. It makes no sense whatsoever, there is no room in any spiritual movement for violence and a so-called spiritual person could not possibly be spiritual in any way at all while also having the slightest amount of violence in them at all. I don't think jesus actually struck anyone even when he was kicking the money-lenders tables over in the temple let alone send thousands of people of to WAR to massacre thousands of other people, over and over and over. Then as I began to read more and found that mohammed's mates were allowed to take slave girls as "war booty" and that mohammed actually did the same himself and that his idea of heaven was one of the most debauched existences I had ever heard of I was beginning to think "was this guy normal ?" and "how can a person be considered "spiritual" when, not only had he several wives, but he kept women as sex slaves as well ?" What kind heaven is a place where men have dozens of virgins and that the men that go there have the strength of many men so that they can "enjoy" all these virgins over and over. Yet mohammed is considered to be the most perfect man and yet all this really really debauched behaviour is considered ok and not just on earth but in heaven too. I'm sorry but this is just crazy, surely heaven is a place of virtue, not debauchery, how is this in any way religious or spiritual ?
Now I pride myself in taking the time to research stuff properly before coming to any kind of rash conclusions, so I go to the source material and I find this there ! I go to forums in which muslims discuss their own faith between themselves and I find the same material being discussed there !

Not quite worst of all is the fact that there exists several words (namely "Taqiya" and "Kitmān") in islam that refer to a form of "religious deceit" in which muslims are allowed to lie when confronting the enemy, particularly in times of war. Now at first that sounds almost reasonable, until I also discovered that lands are, in islam, divided into two types Dar al-Harb which means "House of War" and is ANYWHERE that "islamic law" or shariah is not implemented, in other words any non-islamic country; and Dar al-Islam which means the "House of Submission". "Islam" itself means "submission", it does not mean "peace". It is only referred to as "peace" either by the ignorant who have just heard it said, but haven't bothered to check the facts out themselves or by muslims employing Taqiya. When a muslims says that Islam (submission) is a religion of peace, this stems from the idea that when the whole world has perfectly submitted to islam, then there will be no discord amongst anyone, but until there are those who have not submitted, then muslims will consider them to be part of the "House of War". Even Allah, the muslim god considered himself to be the greatest deceiver, even greater than the jew. This is straight out of the koran, I kid you not !!! If you think I am making this up then I will quote where it is:

But they (the Jews) were deceptive, and Allah was deceptive, for Allah is the best of deceivers (Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru al-makireena)

Worst of all is that muhammed, when aged 50-odd took a child-bride (Aisha) of 6 years of age and CONSUMMATED the marriage went the girl was only 9. This is a contentious issue for obvious reasons. Muslim apologists tend to suggest Aisha was in her teens when either married or when the marriage was consummated. Regardless of Aisha's actual age the most pertinent point is that, even if Aisha was much older than the critics say, i.e. supposing that she was as "OLD" as, say 15, what we need to bear in mind is that muhammed himself was about 53 when the marriage was consummated. Ponder this for a while a "schoolgirl" and a man in his fifties. And this is supposed to be one of the world's most spiritual people ever.
I'm sorry but I am not having it. If we found out tomorrow that Jesus had MULTIPLE wives AND had SEX-SLAVES AND had THOUSANDS KILLED AND led people into BATTLE and WAGED WARS and HAD PEOPLE BEHEADED and purported that in God's Kingdom men could have sex with dozens of virgins how many people would have "faith in Jesus".
Now maybe some may think I am either a christian or an atheist and either of these stances puts me in a prejudiced position regarding islam, but this is not the case. I more of an agnostic than anything and I am not interested in partisan viewpoints I am interested in one thing and one thing alone and that is TRUTH.
If someone feels "insulted" or "offended" my response to this would be "grow up" and "stop being such a baby !!"

I'd say it's more offensive to Americans as it makes them out to be narrow minded and racist. If this had been made during a different time they'd have picked a different fake antagonist. They're trying to align people to the idea that their own government wouldn't do this to them.
