Urgh,...What a horrible movie

Love the Rocky movies. Although the Creed movies are a (blackwashed) cash-in. Sure it was semi-reprirational cinematic coat-tail hanging (but what amazing coat-tails to hang from?)

Michael B Jordan lacks charm and comes across as a perma-scowling moron with limited intelligence (in all the movies) but at least had Rocky to counterbalance the tedium.
And at (very) least Creed II had the decency to ditch pretensions of it's predecessor, and become a dumbed-down punch-fighter flick (despite it still containing dire characters and dialogue)

As a result of such, I've put off watching Creed III...until now.

What a horrible movie (full of horrible human beings) You can tell that Stallone (the only saving grace in *this* turgid series) is absent..and not just on-screen...but in spirit.

This is why this franchise had to piggyback off a legit franchise...but now with it's apron-strings cut, it's true colours are there for all to see (and they're dark and ugly)
Instead of the 'heart' and 'passion' associated with the whole Rocky ethos...We now get thugs, ebonics, violence (likely found in 70's Grindhouse blaxploitation)

All of this would be forgivable (or at very least tolerable) if there were *ONE* genuinely likeable character. I'm baffled by the relative success/praise these movies get?

Hopefully, the law of diminishing returns...puts this franchise to bed (I shudder to imagine how emotionally/morally bankrupt these movies would be if the franchise stretched to SIX movies?)
