Stop with the remakes already

The original with Harrison Ford was fine. Have the movie makers no imagination left whatsoever or is it just those with imagination aren't allowed in, and if they do get a foot in the door their scripts are stolen like what likely happened with Matrix?

It's not really a remake. It's an adaptation of a book. Many books have multiple adaptations. I mean I get that it would be nice if they would adapt a new story, or even more shockingly, write one, but at least it isn't a comic book adaptation.
