Questions left unanswered. (SPOILERS!!)

Bear with me here...

There are a series of murders going on. It's implied the protagonist is the killer (as police are looking for her in connection to the disappearances). They've been going on for YEARS. The man who adopts her as such, lost his son to said killer. So the protagonist is a serial killer, who killed the mans son when they (protagonist and the son) were both young children?

Why on earth would she do that? Whats her motive for killing? Her first kill we see is explained away by the guy being a pushy-creep. The second killing is uncalled for, she seemingly has a sexual-sadistic blood lust. Then she kills the others in the house in the name of self preservation (avoiding being caught).

Her background is a big gaping hole.

Another thing is how did the pregnancy even work. What did the car penetrate her with, impregnate her with and how did she bare a child to a fucking car. It went full blown sci-fi in that regard whilst being grounded everywhere else. She has a metal plate in her head, cool. But it's revealed she has metal plates under her stomach. Did they develop during the pregnancy.

What is the moral of this movie? ;
- LGBT elements. (Lesbian scenes and the transgender aspect of the protagonist passing as a man. The 'Father' being happy with the adoptee regardless of who they are, male/female/a stranger/gay/straight.)
- Womens issues. (The pregnancy stuff, along with the creepy male fans at the beginning)
- Loss and forgiveness. (Adopting and loving the person responsible for your childs dissapearance/death)

Unexplained weirdness/10

Don't bother trying to figure this film out. It's just stream of consciousness storytelling nonsense masquerading as "emotional depth." You've likely put more thought into your response here than the filmmaker did when writing the screenplay. And this is what wins top honors in France. High art indeed.

Her tattoo - “Love is Dog from Hell.” This is my favorite movie from last year, and I was so surprised it wasn’t nominated for best foreign film at the Oscars. It won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Don’t try and take things literally for this movie.

To answer your questions: Search for this movie on Wikipedia. Also, look at article on Collider “‘Titane' Ending Explained: Family Matters” and look at review on Roger Ebert.com. It will answer all of your questions.

She did not murder the boy. She is responsible for only the recent murders, not the decade-old one.

Agreed. Bizarre for show.
