I used to watch this show during the earlier seasons (2007 up until round 2012). I've noticed over the years that's Kourtney is the most stubborn one out of all 3 girls.
She gets mad easily, she's judgmental, even to Scott, and EVEN when he was trying to work on himself. It's like her has no personality or social skills what's so ever.
She reminds me of a stuck up brat. I remember on one of the older episodes Bruce said she was the least welcoming when he started dating their mom and how the one Christmas morning he said Merry Christmas Kourtney and she just looked at him and said "Don't even talk to me".
shareI don't necessarily think she has poor social skills. She went through a lot as a child, and being the oldest, I think she felt like she had to be strong and "protect" the younger kids and therefore she became somewhat standoff-ish and cold as a defense mechanism.
shareProtect them from what though?? They never went through much trama, aside from their fathers passing which occured when they were in their 20s.
shareKourtney witnessed the heartbreak her father went through when her mother was out cheating on him and then the subsequent divorce which was quite rancorous, I believe. As a young impressionable girl, she, most likely, had to harden her outside shell in order to protect herself and her siblings from the pain inflicted upon them by their fighting parents.
shareIt's hard to tell what was poor social skills and what was reading from a script as the show was so scripted. She seemed a bit ''slow'' upstairs if anything even more so then Kim. She talked especially.. slow.
