Anyone else liked this movie?

I saw it at an early screening last night and was pretty entertained! :)
I didn't really care about Willis barely having any screen time either, and cared even less about 50 Cent's screen time.

50 cent isn't a very good actor so I'm glad he was only given a bit part, but Willis had a pretty large role as the antagonist/protagonist depending on where you come down on who's the bigger a$$hole, Patric or Willis. I really enjoyed it a lot! There were plenty of cliched roles and plot devices, and yet Patric and the girl he was palling around with were very convincing and the movie as a whole was a ton of fun. I also very much enjoyed Cusack's role in the film. I couldn't help but think It was a partial sequel to Gross Pointe Blank since they spent so much time talking about hit man lore. I would think any man with a gun fetish and a love for his family would think this film is the closest thing to porn and would love it so don't be afraid to rent this on VOD, because it's really much better than a typical direct to video film. Also, why isn't Jason Patric still making lots of great films? Rush is one of my all-time favs and he still sizzles like bacon when on the screen. He just absorbs every character he plays.

You said it right it was just entertainment nothing more. Bad acting bad directing poor execution. I particularly enjoyed how the "badazz" main character literally cannot be shot even at point blank range. I really don't get why he had a standoff with Bruce Willis in the end. I mean he could've walked the length of the hallway with Willis emptying his clip and he wouldn't have had a scratch and just shot Willis in the head. It's not like everyone missing was exaggerated or anything. But ya entertaining to say the least

The hero's immunity to bullets is something you just have to take for granted in movies of this sort. Otherwise it would all be over after the first shootout.

I liked this movie. It was formulaic and unexceptional but it passed the time and there was nothing that stood out as awful. I was actually surprised by all the hate I found on this board after watching it. Compared to the last two Taken movies, I thought it held up quite well.

I liked it. A good 'dick' flick. Bruce did this for a paycheck, probably $500K minimum.

I liked it, it felt like a good old action movie from the 80's.

I liked it too. It was different to the type of action films most straight to DVD films try to be.

I'd like to answer this question from a unique standpoint. I haven't finished the movie, but I am in the middle of it now. Not right now LOL I'm on IMDB right now. But I am watching this on a Kindle with Amazon Prime, just watching a bit at a time when I feel like it. And it is very hard to turn off! Yes it's kind of corny but it's pretty compelling. I like what I've seen so far, even though it may not be anything groundbreaking,...It feels like a cut rate TAKEN, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. I actually try to remember what it felt like when I was in the middle of a movie when thinking about how good or bad they are...I'm pretty sure I like this one somewhat, and most reviews are being overly critical...

A nice popcorn, sit your ass on the couch - nothing to do that night - action flick. Pretty damn enjoyable. I thought Jason Patric held his own as the badass ex-assassin going to save his daughter. As little as a part that Willis had, he wasn't 'bad' - meaning he was epic in the Die hard realm, and absolutely pitiful and lifeless in movies since then. So I was pretty happy he did an average job in the small part he had here.
John Cusack wasn't anything special, but I've usually enjoyed his acting, and nice to see him in a flick again. I'd rate this 8/10

It's great for this type of movie. I could understand a low rating if a random group of people saw it, but for people that enjoy crime/unstoppable man/Charles Bronson type of movie it would have a pretty decent rating.

I thought the last half hour was really good!
