They miscounted the coaches sh%ts

nick bet shawn that the coach would say sh^t 7 times. shawn said the coach would say it 10 times. as the coach starts talking nick starts counting but we only see him count up to 5. after the coach is done he's says that shawn was right the coac said sh$t 10 times, but he actually only said it 9 times. though this is a minor point and people probably didnt catch it, i hate that sooooooooooo many movies do the same thing. is it soo hard to just go back in the script and change one word so that its accurate i mean really....

reply

Was probably just bad editing. But yea, there were 9, including the 0'sh!t-hundred hours.

reply

Hey guys, I think it's called a "joke"

I caught that too...I thought maybe I missed something because the person I was watching it with convinced me I counted wrong! People who watch it the mutiple times are going to be counting...you think they would get it right!

reply

Yeah, I counted 9 too. I actually paid no attention to the coach in that scene because I was too busy counting, lol.

reply

I took this as a homeage to Super Troopers how they also miscount the number of "Meows". If i remember correctly they did the same thing, It's hilarious. Cause they expected people to count, and then *beep* with there head.

reply

i think shawn won the bet, because he was closest... not cuz he was right...

reply

I was sad enough to count how many s%!ts he said and yeah, I only got 9 as well

"And what am I supposed to do while you're on a yellow brick quest for a brain?"

reply

They are teenagers, they probably weren't paying attention and thought they heard an extra *beep* lmao but it is 9 ive watched it a few times and counted

<it is what it is!>

um pretty sure thats the point. the director was making fun of the fact that the characters can't count, there typical jocks. they think its 10 but really its 9.

Im impressed....Well im in love. :)

Maybe it's a little tactical ploy to get viewers to watch it again, could be a purposeful goof, like many comedies have, and you are never quite sure if it's genuine or part of the actSource: http://moviereviews.noskram.com/2009/09/movie-reviews-for-fired-up
