"Through the miracle of technology, we get to be face-to-face in the same room, and we don't have to wear a mask," Winfrey said of her Oprah Conversation with the former president, who was in Washington, D.C. while she was in Santa Barbara. Winfrey said she was inspired by the green-screen technology she saw in the first episode of The Drew Barrymore Show that made it appear that Cameron Diaz was in the same New York City studio as Charlie's Angels co-stars Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu, when Diaz was actually thousands of miles away in Los Angeles. Barrymore reacted to Oprah's comments on Instagram, writing: "@oprah what??!!! Oh my goodness! I’m so excited to live up to your standards and will try and continue to do so!"
