Interesting Drama

It's an interesting show that can lead to some discussion. Obviously she was in the wrong because she is in the role of a teacher and he is a student, but he was 17 or 18 and her 30 so there is that gray area of age. She uses him and their relationship as an "escape" from her failing marriage. He suffers his first real heartbreak and breakup, but his continued brokenness and depression 10 years later seemed like it was forced and just didn't fit. In contrast, her life is difficult because everyone views her as a predator, but she seems to have recovered just fine - getting married and having kids, other than her social status being forever tarnished. I wonder if she never told her friend, so nobody found out, and he graduated, she got divorced, would they actually have ended up together? I tend to think they would have got tired of each other and it would have ended. The taboo situation kind of created the attraction and fantasy for one another.

I thought the acting by both leads was really well done and I also enjoyed that this was a shorter show. Anyway, thought it was interesting and worth watching. The topic and scenario certainly creates discussion.
