It taught me a lesson to never watch a "non spoiler" review on Youtube ever again. That was the single most shocking thing in the movie and this asshole reviewer spoiled it in the first 30 seconds. It was all the more upsetting since I went for months avoiding any news or updates on this movie.

Ole Michael just ‘disappeared’ and went hiding in the sewers for 4 years?!? A homeless man sees him occasionally - what the hell?!?

Yeah this movie is more about trauma than Halloween and Michael Myers. I give them credit for trying something new but it was a huge miss. I was often totally lost as to what the writers were trying to accomplish
