Something that I haven't heard anyone mention that makes the "mob mentality scene" even more stupid.

When everyone is still in the bar watching TV the news channel literally shows photos of both Michael & the other escaped mental patient.

Its already ridiculous enough to try to get the audience to look over the fact that in real life people would know what a famous serial killer looks like, but Jesus Christ. THEY SHOW THEIR PICTURES ON THE NEWS!! I like this movie A LOT, but the writing is just a joke at times.

Some people claim that the news report didn't identify the men in the photos. So the people watching in that bar wouldn't have know who was who.

Which is utter bullshit. The news report would have identified who each of them was. Michael has just killed about a dozen people, including cops and firefighters. Even if he hadn't, it makes no sense for the authorities to provide photos to the media with no identification. None whatsoever.

At the very least, the mob wouldn't have just spontaneously and unanimously decided which of them it was by themselves.

The second half of this movie is a stupid as anything that's been in this franchise to date. And that is saying something.
