So The Computer Can Control Powerlines?

Aria kills the Iranian with powerlines. Why can't she do that to kill everyone else? Movie is bullsh!t.

Just happened to be watching that right now and wondering the same thing?

And now, my beloved disciples. The moment of truth... the needle of love

One of the many plot threads in this movie about which you don't want to think too deeply.

That was lame.

Its that man again!!

And 6 screenwriters couldn't find another way?!

I neither read nor write long-winded essays on the IMDB.

It's a part of the power grid. It's the grid accessible via network?

This movie is 100% scientifically exact!!! You have a problem with that? GO TO HELL!!!!

Yeah, that's about where my suspension of disbelief really, really kicked in. I can buy the computer and cell phone over rides, but there are laws of physics and motion that are just immutable.

It's like Stephen King's stupid "Maximum Overdrive" movie in the 80s, where machines get taken over, but they do things that are just impossible. The electric knife can't just float and kill people, it needs to be lifted and force applied behind it, for example.

Up to then my disbelief levels were pretty stretched, but powerlines scene snapped them. Might as well have been voodoo magic, in fact that would have been more believable.
