so many questions you could ask like where did all the children come from?? where was the airport getting the food to survive? where were they getting oats for the horses. why couldn't the adults just kill the prophet who didn't seem to special in any way? this is not very good on the practical level but it's not bad on the esoteric level.

the payoff is just not worth the long circular trip in this series. i won't be watching a season 2 if there is one.

other questions?

would they not spend most of their time growing and gathering food in the summer instead of moving around and acting??? where were the prophet and all those kids staying in the winter? did they have food supplies stored up? winter is brutal around the great lakes?? this might have worked in an area with a warmer climate.

Whole storyline with The Prophet and children is very stupid and dont make any sense.
