Slow with completely unlikeable characters

WAY over hyped. Davis, as good as she is, is not on screen enough. Such a shame as the production values are high. Sumptuous set dressing. But the story is far to limited and the best stories are narrated instead of filmed and acted out.

She probably had the second most lines in the film. I didn't like her character at all, and I was rooting for Levee (Chadwick) to get to play his music to the world. Very disappointed in the ending. Well acted though I'd say.
