Anyone else glad that Marlon Wayans is not returning for the sequel?

He almost ruined the first one anyways. He spent the whole movie acting like a buffoon, cracking dumb jokes and trying to "mack" on a white woman.

I disagree he was good in the movie not great but good. The only time I have liked his acting.

After plan B is plan C, and after that, D. “You know how the alphabet works.”

He was God awful - talk about unbelievable casting as a tough-guy/military/special forces dude. He just made you want to knock his teeth out the whole time.

White????

As far as I'm concerned, the further the sequel can get from the original director, writers, and actors, the better. Although another train wreck would be alright too. Total ineptitude is always good for a few laughs.

After seeing Requiem I thought Marlon Wayans could end up with a decent movie career, filled with a number of meaningful and challenging roles... I was wrong. :P

I'm ECSTATIC! Now Scarlett can get with her true soulmate, Snake-Eyes.

Semper Sci-Fi !!! ¦|¦|¦|

Nah. I actually liked him quite a bit. I found him to be one of the better things about this film.

P.S. OP, what's your problem with interracial relationships?

Logan, buddy. It's me, Deadpool! I shot youuuuuu....

problem with the script? too *beep* bad, talk to the writers, since THEY wrote HIS CHARACTER to ACT that way as HIS CHARACTERS PERSONALITY..

The extreme always makes an impression.

The gym scene where he hits on Scarlette was one of the most uncomfortable flirting scenes I've seen in quite a while. He was really funny in other parts of the movie, but I hate the "desperate bachelor" angle for his character, and there were plenty of parts where he crossed over from being funny to grating.

Overall, I'd say he was "ok." He didn't really take away more from the movie than he added to it, so I don't hate him the way a lot of fans did. However, I certainly won't miss him. I wonder if he's going to be one of the joes that gets killed in the massacre at the beginning?

If they were going to have the token black guy, they could have at least used one that was already established in the GI Joe universe, like Stalker. I can barely remember Ripcord(who was actually white), I think he was in that episode where a few of the guys went to Bizarro World and stayed behind.
