The one who conflicted with Scott and then still passed his driving test.

Also...

Could Scott be lying or exaggerating when he said to Poppy "He didn't deserve to, was very rude and didn't even say thank you" - what, did he mean to HIM or someone who awarded him the license?

Could he have imagined it or...

But would it be better and interesting if that student character was seen in the film? Cheers.

P.S. That's not exactly "I've never given up on a pupil" if he DID in fact give up on him and refused to give up on Poppy, then again, who knows - he wasn't always honest, was he?
