I agree, it's not real, but I don't think that is the criticism here,
because no one could really be expected to show intimate details
of their life without spinning in some doubt and uncertainty.
The problem is that he used his girlfriends for his own entertainment
and profit ... to me that is his character problem, I think he is kind of
a not really horrible, but narcissistic sociopath, that comes off kind
of cute and charming to women and really seemed to take advantage
of that.
Not evidence that he had changed or really understood that ... it seems
like he thinks he hid it by laying on the humor and schmaltz.
