The negative comments about this movie are disheartening, and I can only assume there are posters who have not matured to the point of being able to see the beauty of this fine film. It is a quiet movie, but has absolutely hilarious moments, which isn't surprising, since the screen writer also wrote Sideways and About Schmidt. Grown ups will love this movie.

shareI totally agree, accept I thought About Schmidt was awful, mainly because there wasn't a single character I could symphatise with or care about, whereas this film had several sympathetic characters.

I saw it with my mom when it came out. I was either 24 or 25 and she was around 59. I liked it, but she hated it. Go figure.
