So, why did the director want Enid to see the film? Did he know she was part of the true story the film was based on, and just wanted to mess with her head? Did he know more about the disappearance than Enid? Had he killed Nina? Were he and/or the producer behind the tabloid leak and phone calls?
shareI just got that he filmed the movie from truth (he says that and it's a pretty standard scene) but the answer to your first question is not definitive. We can also surmise he had nothing to do with anything because we never actually see North ask for her. It's the creepy producer who says North wants her to watch this. Maybe this was all a ruse by him that triggered her, he gts killed and she just keeps going.
