Are you kidding? This flick is poor flat!

Sorry guys, I cannot get the high level of enthusiasm about Doghouse - especially here in the board. Doghouse is just a bunch of silly zombie slayer action with some gore effects. If that is everything you need, than you are served. Other than that the movie lacks almost everthing you even need for such thing as zombie-comedy-flicks:

1. No storyline at all!
2. No acting just plain screaming and running!
3. No interesting characters!
4. No surprises!

I could get on and on. But I'll stop right here. Doghouse is a complete waste of time and money. Take a look at "Zombieland" or "Shaun of the dead" if you are into funny zobie stuff. These two are really fun and worth to watch.

From the second that I saw Danny Dyer on the credits I expected to hate this. However, it was a pleasingly mysognistic comedy that made very few excuses for itself. I liked the way it played as a coming of age film for men having a mid-life crisis as an inversion of the standy nerdy teenager plot.

Lots of good one liners and some quite entertaining slapstick.

Were you honestly expecting a decently plot?

1. It's a horror comedy.

2. Most of the acting was pretty good, Graham especially.

3. The sound frequency was a very clever joke, any which way you cut it.

4. It had Danny Dyer in and I didn't spend the whole film distracted by how much I wanted to kill him. Surely that is an accomplishment in itself.

I understand that it is not for everyone but it won't stop you all enjoying Mama Mamia and Glee.

Poor from start to finish. I only carried on watching in the vain hope it couldn't continue to be that bad.....
