A Necessary Re-telling of Stalinism

With the Cold War now a distant memory in the American collective mind, this film serves as a necessary reminder of why this 'war by proxy' was waged.

Additionally, those 30 and younger have no memory of a time when the world lived on the brink of nuclear annihilation. These people are easily manipulated by those on the far left into having a sympathetic view of Communism. I'm shocked at how many young people I talk to who have been brain-washed into moral relativism. The narrative seems to be that America has been the source of evil in the world since WW2.

Perhaps a retelling of the narrative can cause people to reconsider Stalinism and its paranoid delusions, which destroyed the lives of untold millions over multiple generations. The dysfunctional Russia State we see today is still influenced by former KGB operatives.

Even if a little late to this post, I 100% agree with all you wrote.

I wouldn't know for sure but would be willing to bet that Stalinism and all the people murdered under his regime is not even taught in US schools. Or any other other world dictators during the past century (except for Hitler of course.) It just doesn't fit the current agenda.

I too concur COMPLETELY with your post.

Today America is considered the villain, no matter what happens...If America doesn't get involved, where aid is needed, they are looked upon as not caring and selfish.

When they do get involved, then they are "looking for the nonexistent bad guy" and stick their noses where they don't belong.

Come on haters, you can't have it both ways!

In 50 years they will make a similar movie and an IMDB-poster will say "A necessarry re-telling of Putinism"

Way late I know, but I agree completely. That's EXACTLY what I was thinking during the Gulag section of the film. Everyone knows about the Nazi Concentration Camps, but not many know about the Gulags.

And you're correct, modern Russia is still influenced by former KGB operatives, and therefore is NEVER to be trusted.
