Finally saw it - better than the first one

Taissa Farmiga is excellent, Storm Reid is fine (even though she's completely superfluous), Jonas Bloquet again does a great job, whilst young Katelyn Rose Downey is surely one to watch for in the future.

The gothic architecture gives some creepy locations. Great opening 'kill', some nice scares, and an all-action finale. The film could use a few more deaths, and the Nun/Valak could do with more screentime. Enjoyable improvement on the first one. Oh, the goat-demon is pretty cool. 7/10
