I thought this was an extremely well done movie.

I found it dialogues extremely annoying and uninspired. Also, per usual Dreamworks lazy habits, they keep reusing the same models over and over (and their human models are pretty old and stiff). Some of the graphics were really good, other weren't at all. The story had some ideas, but the final result was boring and predictable. To me, Dreamworks makes only "cheap" cgi cartoons (cheap in terms of quality) and this one was another one of this kind. Pretty forgettable.

shareI think it's limited financial returns had something to do with the humor not translating well un foreign markets. Pretty sure i read that or saw a clip of an interview somewhere. Too bad movies have to be for everybody now to be considered successful.
