Do girls like Gigi exsist?

That are perfect in every way? I haven't been able to find her yet :(

Most women dont bring you lasagna at work. They usually just cheat on you.

reply

they do exsist, but they probably don't put out like she did, lol... She was very hypersensative about most things anyway, is that someone ones wants to be with, NOT... Men are very weird these days, brainwashed all to hell... Today its seems hit that men want, Jenna Jameson in the bedroom, Martha Stewart in the kitchen, and have her look like your everyday hooters waitress... Really is that way men want, ouch... I know very few people that have a woman like that...

reply

great insight """"Men are very weird these days, brainwashed all to hell..."

a lot of men just look at women on the internet..I don't think a lot of men would even know what to do with a real woman..." they would just rather look at their internet girlfriend.

But Gigi had one of the best lines in that film..something like " I might disect everything and put out way too much but at least I have a better chance of falling in love" how true...it takes courage to love..

Everyday I learn something new!

There are a lot of them in the world!!!!

One of my favorite lines.

I have done my fair share of womanizing, but i have never lied/cheated/manipulated a woman for my personal/sexual hunger-pains. I pretty much exclusively only date women i meet from the internet these days. Why? Simple I work in the field and a lot of the time after work i hit the gym and i am too strained to go out and try to meet someone.

Its funny i don't even remember writing this. I come on every few months to see if anyone had anything "neat" to say about what i had to say, very rarely they do, so thanks for reading and commenting. Darth D'Vaid

So did you find your own real-life Gigi? :)

Thoughts become things.

What some men may see as clingy, other men may see as loyalty.

reply

Woah there! She does not say she puts out way too much. The actual quote is:

"I might disect everything and PUT MYSELF OUT THERE..."

Makes all the difference in the world =)

dumb, annoying and naive is perfect? okay.... :)

ill take the less expensive car thank you.:)

Whoah!

We typically don't like being compared to possessions.

Maybe it's just me, but I've developed this nasty little habit of thinking I should be looked at as a human rather than an object.

reply

Lots of women like Gigi exist. I was like her in my 20's. Desperate for love and coming across and totally naive and clingy. Her character was so sweet though but had a hint of desperation to her and that is a real turn off for most men. But she was so cute and loveable a guy would be dumb for not wanting her but it was the way she came across that turned most guys off.

Alot of good points were made in this movie. Bottom line is, if a guy is interested he will find a way to contact you.

reply

i wouldn't say she is perfect in every way, but there are a lot of girls out there like that. i have a little bit of gigi in me. but i have to say, the guys i meet are more looking for the scarlett johansen character.

i'm proud to admit to never have watched a "reality" tv program!

reply

YES ..... but it's just a facade. Have't you seen The Exorcist? That's what chicks are really like when they're alone or in covens (they call them book clubs)! Cosmetics actually bend light and conceal the forked tongue and sharp fangs so guys cannot see the horror that lies within. Look at Madonna and Oprah without makeup and you're scarred for life!

reply

I have a feeling that the Gigi type girls are out there but they're less attractive than Ginnifer Goodwin. This is usually why they are more desperate, because they aren't hit on as much as the more attractive girls. The problem with Gigi's character in this movie is that she was too attractive to pull off the type. It didn't make sense (at least to all the guys).

I don't think a lot of men would even know what to do with a real woman
Ok I'm curious, what's a real woman?

Men are very weird these days, brainwashed all to hell
Lol, that applies to women more than men. They've been brainwashed to expect equality yet still expect to be treated like princesses. And most of them can't cook!

reply

It's not wise to say that the brainwashing comment "applies to women MORE than men". Speak for yourself and your own personal experiences and leave the rest of us ladies out of it!

A "real" woman, I'm guessing, is one in the flesh and blood as opposed to a grainy jpeg image of some online hooker's boobs. Lol...

I do agree about the casting of Gigi. She was too attractive to play that type of character. They should have hired somebody a little more plain looking. Nevertheless she still did a good job and was my favorite character.

That's evolution, baby. So mutate or step aside.

reply

Nope. And on top of the equality/princess brainwashing, woman are all brainwashed by Disney movies, looking for princes.

reply

Judging by your classless efforts at responding (even on lame forums like IMDB) I'm assuming you're no prince.

reply

Ah very good. Playing the man and not the ball. I guess you have nothing else to say about the topic but don't want to lose. Typical woman.

reply

Was there an argument? I lost interest. You're probably not such a douche in real life but you play a good one online. :)

Maybe there was and maybe there wasn't, although I'm sure to you I was just someone with the wrong opinion. You're probably not such a b*tch in real life but you play a good one online. :)

I agree as well, she was much too attractive for that character but she fit the naivety and desperation of the character perfectly though.

"It's all very complex. Or else it's very simple. Or perhaps both. Or neither."

reply

I don't necessarily think that she was too attractive to pull this off. The guys she was going for were on the same level as her in looks i.e. average - above average (well, most of them). Obviously she would be able to get guys, but she was just unlucky with the ones on the same/higher level of attractiveness as her, and who she was actually interested in.

reply

I personally hate comments like "She's too attractive to pull off a role like this." It's as though people are saying that only ugly girls come off as desperate. That is not true at all. I know plenty of women who are incredibly attractive and have problems keeping men. I also see plenty of women who are not as attractive and have men with them. I fall into the former category. I found Goodwin to be perfect for the role of Gigi. She was attractive, but not va, va, va voom. And she gave Gigi a vulnerability that other actresses might not have done.
