To me, Billie Piper is not pretty enough or shapely enough for the part, and I don't like the way she speaks (inflection, facial expressions, etc.). From that aspect alone, the series is disappointing. The title does not exclude other call girls' diaries, so I would like to see a different actress next year.

Speaking of Billie Piper, she is not stunningly, supermodel beautiful. IMHO, she is pretty and cute at best especially with less makeup, she is prettier. However, she has a lot of sex appeal. Also, she has one of the most beautiful and radiant smiles.
shareIs everyone blind??? Billie is now -- and has always been -- simply gorgeous! She's a very talented actress (and singer IMO) and does an excellent job playing Belle. However, I do have mixed feelings about her in this role because it's degrading and not the most upbeat theme. She's certainly proven her versatility as an actress, but I'd like to see her move onto bigger and better roles. Unfortunately, I think she's still pretty unknown in North America where I'm from.
shareI just started reading the book, and it's amazing how good it is, and how fast reading goes. Mind you, I had preivious predjudice that's it's mainly erotic reading. It's not. But TV show based on the book is almost complitely different from it's source. It has some small connections, but not much. Book is very god, bright, smart and sexy, and show is also quite good.
I like Billy (i'm female :)), she's cute, sexy, seems confident enough, and she plays the role with easiness and makes character of Belle likable (even though not exactly realistic, her life is presented waaaaay too glamorous to be true) which by my opinion was not an easy task.
So she'r just right.

shareI think it's funny that people say she has a huge nose. It certainly doesn't look big to me, it looks small and cute. I've always thought her jaw was unattractively big, although I've gotten used to it. I really think she's very pretty most of the time and quite hot in SDOACG.
