How come so many people don't understand this movie?

It's supposed to be no more realistic than say 300 or Kill Bill. It's basically a filmed comic book, and it's been made painfully obvious by the director in the first 30 minutes of the movie, so why bitch about the lack of realism?

People like to bitch about things they didn't understand or feel they were fooled by the marketing. The film is a cross between an action movie and an art film. Not everything is meant to be realistic. Why does everything have to be realistic to be good anyways? You just have to watch it with the right mindset. I liked it alot because of how different it was... it could of been (and people seemed to want this) a very generic movie about yet another Bourne type supersoldier but the twist of making her very young and the way it was written and shot made the movie it's own thing. Love it or hate it. Same as with Drive some people HATE it with a passion because they were expecting some Fast and the Furious movie.

I understood it completely. That doesn't keep it from being a very stupid movie.

100% agree. The writers and directors intentionally portrayed a sense of realism and then added completely unrealistic situations and behaviors on the part of the primary characters. Hanna comes completely unglued by harmless electrical appliances but can grab the undercarriage of a Humvee speeding by at 40 mph
