Gimme a break...

The scene where Treskow is in Brandt's office retrieving the brandy bomb....if Brandt (being a fanatically loyal Hitler puppet) knew that it was a bomb he would have had the Gestapo there to arrest Treskow. Brandt with his smirks, the gun on the desk and mocking behavior does not fit the scene. I understand the Singer is trying to make it suspenseful, but let's keep it real fellas...

While the film hints that Brandt may know, the end of the scene makes it clear that he does not, when Treskow shames Brandt for even considering drinking while on duty, and questioning how Hitler would feel about that, given that he doesn’t even drink himself, Brandt is shown to immediately lose his position of superiority over Treskow.
The gun and mocking-like behavior were red hearings imo.
