The only movie I can remember being done about the early years of Hitler in Vienna(1909-1913) was Max(2002). I'm currently reading William L. Shirer's "The Rise and Fall of the 3rd Reich". Now someone should make that into an epic trilogy.
shareLooking at what happened to Mel Gibson, you really think a movie showing the bigotry of Jews toward non-Jews in Germany after WWI is ever going to make it onto the screen... let alone a film about the rise of Hitler?? The economic turmoil that Hitler blamed Jews for could easily by spun as understandable grounds for his crimes.
