Machete as a film is racist against White people

When did the director decide to turn Machete into a film that is racist against White people?

Perhaps Machete is even the most racist film against White people ever made, although there may be others I'm not aware of. If so, feel free to post them in this thread.

There is no way a film like Machete would get made if it was racist against other races in the same way that it is racist against White people.

When did being racist against White people become acceptable?

Has anyone else made the point before that Machete is racist against White people?

Is no one else disgusted by this film's racism against White people?

Does the director realize that by making a film that's racist against White people, he is only alienating them from supporting the real-life political agenda that he is trying to push with the film?

I wouldn't say this was racist against white people. I would say it was a big message against current Immigration laws.

I think if someone from Mexico can prove they can provide a service and willing to pay taxes and obey the laws and speak good enough English for people to understand then they should be given a right to citizenship.

I feel this would help stop businesses and people hiring Illegal Immigrates since they would need to pay minimum wage and taxes and health insurance. If anyone a current citizen can equally apply for the jobs since they have to pay equally.

If someone is not able to find work then instead of getting unemployment or welfare then they can loose their citizenship and sent back to Mexico.

I didn't really take the movie to serious but the part with De Niro and Johnson (even thought they were the bad guys) shooting the border crossing people was something against most white folks. I may be Alex Jones reaching but it just kind of made me pissed off for some reason. Also I am fine with most illegals if they are doing there job and trying to get proper citizenship. Not those that act a fool and shoot farmers.

No, it was something against racist bastards.

To quote Mandy Patinkin:

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

Good. Us whites deserve to be taken down a peg or two.

Maybe it would be against Americans i don't know. I'm Swedish and laughed my ass off through the movie.

All this "why do minorities get to make fun of white people?!" *beep* is such a pain. Firstly, this movie isn't any more racist against white people than The Wire is against black people, and nowhere does it imply that all white people are inherently bad. Writer/director Robert Rodriguez is a white American, by the way, in case you hadn't noticed.

As for "When did being racist against white people become acceptable?" Since we spent the past thousand years or so dominating, occupying and raping as many other races as we could. And we continue to do so, in some ways. Punching up is always far more acceptable than punching down. And punching up against nationalist morons like those depicted in the film should be encouraged, since these people do exist and they are scum.

Thirdly, your post is ten lines long, when it could have been written succintly in less than two. By formatting your posts lazily, you are only alienating people from supporting your political agenda.

These bastards!

Just saying something is racist doesn't make it so. Can you give an example from the movie that you say is racist?
