Wonderful film

Wonderful sets, costumes, being a period piece, and this film also being a love letter to the father of special effects, Georges Méliès, makes this an absolute joy to watch.

One gripe, I just felt something was off with Asa Butterfield in certain scenes, like he was either trying to hard to be emotional, or he was a bit lost in what he was trying to do. Other than that, the acting all around was superb.

Paris 1931 is a feast for the eyes, and the traditional french background music is lovely to listen to.

Fantastic effort all around. Wonderful adventure film.
