Be honest-you saw it coming (spoiler of course...)

How many of you already figured from early in the film that Liev Schreiber's character was gonna be revealed as a villian? I've yet to see as a good guy in anything.

SPOILERS

I just watched this for the first time.......I was able to see it shortly before the reveal. There was a few cluey and slightly menacing shots of his character that foreshadowed it.

some dialog was kinda hint-y when you watched it a second time.

"...United States and HER allies" (instead of "our allies" which is what an American would say imo)

"Our men couldn't get through that door" "She's not one of YOURS"

etc.

Not sure if Wimmer intended there to be those kind of "leaks" in his dialog or maybe I am just looking into things.

Yep. As soon as Liev Schreiber showed up to rescue Salt from the North Korean prison, I knew he'd be the bad guy. Liev Schreiber is ALWAYS the bad guy.

It's not often but he has played a few non-villainous characters.
