It was fun for about 1 hour until I realized you had to keep doing the same thing over and over and OVER in each city. Also, those damn beggars and crazy drunks are so annoying that I just ended up in a rampage and killed everyone. Ugh. This game had so much potential but the gameplay is just so repetitive and bland. Not to mention there aren't even any subtitles when you talk to the Bureau leaders or the informants or when you're eavesdropping! I don't even understand half of what's going on nor did I even know why I was assassinating all those people.

7/10 overall. I don't understand all the hype or the good reviews. This game did not deserve a 9.0 score on any of the game websites.

I actually rather liked the gameplay; even with its flaws, the investigations and sidequests were fun to do. Also, the story is what gripped me; loved the journey with Altair and how much he develops over the course of the game.

People same the game was bland and repetitive, but I disagree. Even though you start out doing the same thing (riding on a horse to get from A to B), once you get there, theres actually quite a diverse number of ways to eliminate targets. If you dont want your game to be repetitive, then be creative.

Imo, its still the best AC game; darker and more mysterious than later installments
