Though I see that it needs to be done to make good time, I don't get why they have to change it all together! In the book, Willie did not die. That's a huge change. I mean,it doesn't hold true to the book and if your not gonna do that with a movie BASED on a book, write your own story. seriously. This movie was still nice though. What do you guys think?
shareyeah, I kinda wish that it has stayed more w/ the book, but its kinda impossible since Love comes softly didn't either. In this movie, there were all kinds of things that had nothing to do w/ the book, but it was a good movie anyway, and I really enjoyed it.
shareI agree, it did kinda drive me crazy. Like with Belinda. Belinda wasn't adopted by Missie in the book, rather she was Clark & Marty's child that they had later on in their marriage.
shareI agree. I love the books. I would love the movies too if I hadn't read the books first. I feel the same way... if you want to write your own story, write your own story. Kind of the same with the Little House series too.
shareWhen this first aired I stopped watching the movie the second Willie was killed. It made no sense what so ever. Book 5 is about Marty not Missy. It was years later that I was finally able to watch the movie and the rest of the series. I was just so ticked off about them killing off Willie. It made no sense.
