The first DIGITAL CINEMA movie I ever saw in theaters

This movie was a landmark of launching digital cinema in the UK, at least it was the first movie I saw in this new digital age of cinema. I didn't notice much difference, except for the fine LCD mesh of pixels which wasn't there on the old celluloid movies. But then, neither were there any scratches or dust or cue dots to indicate a change of reels, unlike the old days.

Obviously, digital cinema opened the door to 3D and HFR, although they never took off. But digital cinema is here to stay, and I'm sure it facilitated digital streaming via Netflix and the rise of Blu-ray.

Sometimes, I miss the old days of cinema, quirks and all.

Cinema theatres are deader than dead.
They have been for years.
Covid was the final nail in the coffin.

Thank God! I won't miss all those fuckers coughing on my back, nor the dwarf-sized torture seats, nor the smell of shitty popcorns.

First time? Are you living in bedrock? Did you time travel from the 1800's?
