top litigator,top architect,top pediatrician,best selling author?COME ON

This is an ongoing theme in black movies. Not being in touch with the reality of the black world. All of these "top" people these success stories that can'r be found in any race in such a concentration yet they're found in this group of black people? Let's play the odds in the real world. Tere has to be at least on ex con and a crackhead in the bunch.

In any group it can be hard to find that 4 person combo. There does not have to be an ex-con or drug addict because these people would not associate with that crowd. We have lawyers and doctor's in my family and I am friends with a successful author, (my architect brother ditched it to become a chef) so it certainly can happen in real life.

A lot has to do with location. In some areas this combination, regardless of color, is more likely than others.

You ever watch the Real Housewives of Potomac? or Real HW of Atlanta? However, I think the OP is trying to say they are all "top/#1" at their profession. While you can be successful, its RARE, even with the white community, that you have a group of friends AND their spouses are all the best at what they do. The top of their profession or #1 in the country/region. It's just rare.

At least with Steve Harvey's "Think Like A Man" was a bit realistic. You had a failed musician that is trying to find his way again, a real estate agent that is still pretty new at her job who is now engaged to an average white guy, a loud mouth married to another loud mouth who knows nothing about finances, a chef who finally found his calling after man failed businesses/careers...the only 1 that was even close to being millionaire or rich was Taraji Henson's character.

But Tyler Perry does seem to hype up the characters, huh?
