Hank should have treaded lightly SPOILER

He would still be alive. Instead, he got whacked making his wife a widow and destroying Walt and his family. All for nothing basically. Walt had stopped dealing and was a dying man. And he gave the Nazis a $70 million paycheck because he went to arrest Walt without any backup. Pride took the better of him, till the very end when he refused to beg for his life.

I think Hank (like any other human being in this position) didn't count that a bunch of Nazis will drive up and shoot them. Other than that his plan worked and he outsmarted Walt and had him in cuffs.

reply

But he called for backup afterwards which he should have called for before driving to the desert. If Hank had let Walt slide after their garage fallout, everything would have been fine. Marie wouldn't be devastated or a widow and Skyler and Junior would be okay.

reply

Back up for what? They were alone in the dessert with only Walt and this whole operation was under the DEA radar because at some point it was only Walt's word versus Hanks. Watch the show again ffs.

And saying to the head of DEA to just let it slide having one of the biggest drug kings just walk. Maybe Hank should have quit being a cop then altogether then? Hank did nothing stupid here. As far as he knew Walt wasn't in the criminal world by then, just running his car wash. Neither Hank or Walt knew the Nazis would arrive.

reply

It was under the radar because of Hank's pride. He was gonna tell but then decided to go it alone when Pinkman showed up. And you always call for backup before an arrest, especially in a desert. And he should have weighed the consequences of arresting Walt but his pride wouldn't let him. DAs and even private citizens always weigh their options and consider if filing a report is in their best interest.

People like you should have a limited access to internet so other's doesn't have to read delusional shit like this.
