I love this movie even though everyone else hates it

I love this movie. This might be my favorite animated superhero movie to date. A big reason is its adult, it has mature themes. I love the characters, and I like how they aren't watered down like Justice League animated series and other movies. Hal having to kill someone or else he'll die. Wonderwoman letting those women kill the men. Superman being cool for once. The flash being amazing even though I like Wally more. Batman's quote in this movie gives me chills and sells the movie for me. "I have a $70000 sliver of a radioactive meteor to stop the one from Metropolis. All I need for you is a penny for a book of matches." I haven't read the comic series that this is based on, and I know it can be a little slow and the pacing wasn't super though-out. But its a great movie none the less.

yeah I agree, I've been watching a lot of these DC animated movies for the first time.
And this is one of the best ones. It was one of the few that didnt' feel rushed or too action heavy. The pacing was great, and good story/character development. It was especially great for newbies like me.

Perhaps its not as popular since neither Batman/Superman have a big role. I admit even I was a bit disappointed at first because I'm mainly watching these movies for Batman right now because I"m in a big Batman mood after TDKR. (I haven't read the comics and actually didn't even know much about Superman or any other members of the justice league before I started watching these animated movies).
But this was just really well made that I didn't actually care about the lack of Batman. And I suppose in a way it's good to have a movie that focuses on the other characters, since Superman and Batman already have a lot of their own movies.

Yeah, I think it is one of DC's best animated films.

I think a lot of people just didn't "get" the setting and the themes and wanted more action, like JL: The Flashpoint Paradox and War. I think New Frontier is also targeted at older comics fans.

I'm actually not a Batman fan...... He's the least favourite of DC characters for me..

Yeah I love that Wonder Woman movie but some parts of it give me the sh*ts like the big fight and the reaction to the fight that saves everyone. "A group of supermodels" won the fight. Geeez, no effort to try and find out who these people were, really? I know it was meant to be cheesy and fun but it kind of took me out of the story when that happened..

Any other DC animated movies I should go for?

BTW how did they have invisible JET planes on Themascyra? Did they just take Steve's plane and make it invisible? Did the Amazons have planes long before the outside world? I want to know why they were stealthy like that?

I love it, too. In fact, I was so impressed by it I went out and bought the graphic novel, which I am currently reading and it is just as good. The writing and art are fantastic.
