Yes the movie was depressing but I thought it was very well put together. Anyways, the saddest part I think is when Vigo took the thief's cart and clothes. Yes they came back but the scene just got to me

That was not sad at all. Some random thug with no morale and no heart deserved nothing less. I would have shot that black guy in the face with 0 hesitation. I mean, If somebody cowardly steals all my kids belongings and rations and leaves him to die to some post-apocalyptic *beep* ... well, the punishment should be most severe.
