For all the terrible announcers in the history of the NFL, just about all of them survived a full season before getting the axe. At the very least, they had multiple games to show off their skill set. However, in week 6 of the 2014 NFL season, UFC announcer Mike Goldberg called his first ever NFL game as a play-by-play man, a battle between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings, and was so bad that he was fired after one game, marking this the first and last game he ever called.
