Iraq / Afghanistan wars were dull

The settings, the background, the causes, the players, the army uniforms were unappealing

These wars were so lame in comparison to Vietnam, World War II, Korea, Civil War etc.

Vietnam and WWII inspired so many good movies. Iraq and Afghanistan didn’t.
