Still yet to watch it, now that is on Netflix will definitely check it out, but am curious does it have the same/similar tone to Zero Dark Thirty & American Sniper as in the tension is developed slowly?

Zero Dark Thirty is the best film, Hurt Locker is the most intense and I thought American Sniper was actually kinda boring.

Way different movies...
I thought American Sniper was very average and dull. I'd say it's Eastwood's worst movie since Blood Work.
Zero Dark Thirty was very good, but completely different than Hurt Locker.
I've seen some people bring up Lone Survivor here. Horrible casting in that movie. Horrible. That said, there is a 30 minute sequence that is just outstanding and action packed. It's fun to watch no matter if you like the casting or not.
Hurt Locker is just a great film. More character development, more sentiment. I'd compare it more to Jarhead than any of these movies stated. That's if I had to pick something.
