Somebody writing for Sea Patrol had a sense of humor!

When the crew is on R&R, Kate is by the pool, under an umbrella on a lounge and you can see she is reading "A Most Wanted Man" by LeCarre.

Sitting at a good distance from her is Mike, who is also in his bathing suit and is on his lounge under an umbrella reading "The Unlost Island" about the controversy that Atlantis did or never did exist from Plato's works.

Last time we saw Mike reading a book it was Homer's "Odyssey" about, well, you know---a guy who sails forever around islands on a quest looking for a place to be and seems to answer "the siren's call" put out by some very alluring but problematic women along the journey who can wreck his ship on some rocks.

So Kate is reading a story about a man who is "wanted" but Mike (the man she wants) is reading about more islands in mythical history, this time Atlantis.

One of the funniest scenes ever in Sea Patrol.
