Um? How old are they suppose to be again?

It's one thing to cast 20 somethings as 17 year olds. But the fact that these kids are on this island for like 2 or more years. Doesn't that make them legal adults?

I thought the same thing. And all the guys and girls that were in this movie looked more like they were in their 20's. Teenage boys for the most part are supposed to be peach fuzzed, gangly, scrawny, and acne-ridden even as 16-17 year olds and in this they were all hairy, muscular, and broad-shouldered

Back to the time thing; I think that's a serious plot hole in the movie, unless you're assuming they're no older than 16 when they get there.

I didnt buy that Mila was 16 or 17

I couldn't buy that either, especially since Kunis was on "That 70's Show" beginning in the late 1990's, and most people kind of watched her grow up. This role (although I like the film) is like some age regression to me, and it's different to me than when performers in their 20's & 30's play teenagers, because maybe there's no history with them, unlike with Kunis.
